We have redesigned our seminars to being private lessons. This means you can schedule one whenever it's convenient for you. It also means we will tailor the lesson directly to your needs and based on your current knowledge. For more information please view our seminars page.

Interviews

Sander-Martijn, the studio manager has been recently featured in two interviews. One is for Resource Magazine. As The Bridge Studio is also a distributer of the magazine you can pick one up at the studio (Distribution was unrelated to the interview). Many other studios in NY distribute Resource Magazine as well.

The oher one is for Muster Magazine and is a video interview. You can see it at Muster Magazine or on the blog on his site.

Website Updates - November 19, 2007

We've added a section for seminars where we'll list our latest seminar information. We also split Friends off from Clients and will grow both of those sections over time.

Steamer - November 03, 2007

We have added a steamer to our equipment list, rentable for $10. As always, please see the equipment page for the most up to date list.

Website Updates - October 30, 2007

We just made some updates to the site - primarily making all pages printable so that the information is all there without any of the extras - give it a shot, it's kind of cool. Also simplified the equipment page to make it easier for you to estimate costs.

Autopoles, more lights, beauty dish etc - Monday, October 29, 2007

As we continue to grow and serve you better (without raising rates) we added autopoles to the studio to allow for easier raising/lowering of backgrounds and increased flexibility. The portable background stand is still here in case it's useful (maybe you want to use the autopoles for something else) so this is straight up upgrade.

We also got a second power supply with two additional heads so you can now run up to 6 heads at once with up to 1600 watts of power, a good amount for a studio this size. It also means we have a backup in case something goes wrong with the primary one. All lighting modifiers are compatible with both sets.

In older news that you may have missed we have a 22" beauty dish, video light kit, more stands and a lot of other things.

There may still be things you wish we had, but that list gets shorter every day.

Website launch - Tuesday, April 17, 2007

We are excited to announce the launch of BridgeStudioNYC.com. It is a major milestone for us as we chose to wait on launching the site until the studio was able to sustain itself via free promotional means such as myspace and craigslist. We have now reached that point. Please let us know what you think
